●??THE LOOSE LEAF: L.A. Gold Leafs Loose leaves are placed in-between tissue paper, separating each leaf. To cut the leaf, one may take it from the booklet with the gilding knife and place it on the gilding cushion or drop it directly from the booklet onto the gilding cushion. Then, pick up the leaf with the gilder’s tip and place it onto the prepared surface.
●??This multi-color leaf is Composition Gold (Brass) which has been subjected to intense heat causing a rainbow colored appearance with an emphasis. A great leaf for creating unusual effects. Because it is made from Brass it must be sealed with a topcoat quickly or it will tarnish.

Variegated leaf is a metal leaf composed of a metal base, such as pure copper leaf or imitation gold leaf that has been treated chemically to create color patterns. These leaves have been heat treated to create metamorphic random patterns of intense color.
