RUBYCA Set of White Clear Crystal Silver Color Round Flat Rapid Rivets Double Cap

Compression rivets, also known as speedy rivets or rapid rivets, are excellent to be used in clothing, luggage, bags, shoes and textile applications. Compression rivets can be used to join or fasten leather, nylon webbing, denim, and countless other sturdy materials.

RUBYCA Rapid rivets come in two pieces: a stem and a cap and are easy to install. First, punch/cut/drill a hole in each part; then, push the cap through the hole and insert the stem; place the rivet on a firm surface; finally, hit the rivet lightly with a hammer or use a rivet press tool. The impact/pressure will compress the cap and stem (hence, “compression rivet”) to securely the material.

Decorative rivets provide a perfect blend of form and function. Choose from rhinestone, base metal and sterling silver rivets for leather goods, steampunk designs, bags, belts, shoes and more. Dress up your designs with RUBYCA sparkly rivets!

We recommend riveting with a wooden block to avoid damaging the finished, decorative side of these rivets. Alternately, you can place a scrap of leather on a steel block to protect the decorative rivet heads.
