Feature

●DAILY ROUTINES MADE EASY - Our muzzle for large dogs and dog muzzles for medium dogs keeps them from barking, biting, howling or getting anxious around strangers. It is also handy when you need to bathe your pet, treat its ears, or trim its nails.
●SECURE YET COMFY - No more basket muzzle or cage! Our dog muzzles are adjustable to shape comfortably over the mouth. Velcro straps ensure a snug fit. The 3D mesh is ultra-safe and lets your pet breathe and drink water easily.
●ADJUSTABLE - Dogs can be anxious when wearing a muzzle the first time so help them adjust to it. Once fitted around the snout, fasten or clip the head strap during each wear, or slip over the head. Use the sliding holder to keep the excess strap in place.
●SIZE OPTIONS - For a breed like Corgi, choose XS/S size. M/L will fit the puppy of a big dog or a female Pitbull. Adult male Danes etc., need L/XL. Our muzzles are not suitable for short snouts or small breeds like Chihuahua.
●TRUSTED BRAND - Collardirect has been developing dog-friendly products since 2010. We offer reflective dog collars and leashes compatible with our dog muzzles in our Amazon store.

Description

CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZED COLLARDIRECT MUZZLE FOR YOUR DOG Give your furry best friend a muzzle that fits them perfectly by measuring the following: LENGTH - This is the area between your pet’s eye line and the tip of its nose. EYE LINE - Start the measurement from the eye line and end at the spot right behind the ears. EYE LINE CIRCUMFERENCE - Go around the snout just 1 inch below the eye line. SNOUT WIDTH - Choose the widest part to ensure comfort. SNOUT HEIGHT - Make sure to measure this with your dog’s mouth a little open. NECK CIRCUMFERENCE - Measure around the neck behind the ears. Important Reminder: Puppies will eventually outgrow their muzzles. Observe the muzzle fit regularly to prevent suffocation. Replace the muzzle immediately when it gets too small for your dog to pant or drink. HOW TO PUT THE COLLARDIRECT MUZZLE ON WITHOUT STRUGGLE Not all dogs adjust to their muzzle quickly. If yours exhibits resistance, here are some steps you can apply to make the experience hassle-free for both of you: 1. Introduce the muzzle when your pet is calm and in a low-stress environment. Include a treat and let it sniff both. 2. The next day, touch its nose with the muzzle and the treat. 3. On the third day, slip the muzzle onto its nose and then give them a treat as reward for good behavior. 4. Put the muzzle on completely on the fourth day, followed again with the reward. 5. By day 5, you will be able to put the muzzle on your dog and fasten it without any resistance.
