Description
The Apera Instruments pH400 is the most economical choice for a reliable portable pH meter. Equipped with high quality 3-in-1 combination pH electrode, the meter tests pH and temperature simultaneously in a quick and accurate manner. Also tests ORP (oxidation-reduction potential), ORP electrode is sold separately. (Accuracy: ±0.01 pH/±0.2 percent F.Use; range: 0 to 14 pH, 0 to 100˚c auto or manual temperature compensation). quick & easy 3-point pH auto calibration: the SMART self-diagnosis helps you conduct proper calibrations and determine the condition of your pH probe. Fully Configurable parameter setting: pH buffer standards, temperature unit, backlight time, and auto-power off time. The large clear LCD displays pH/temperature simultaneously along with reminder icons of stable readings and finished calibrations. Reliable structure: IP57 waterproof and Dustproof, ideal for use in harsh environments. It comes with a complete Test Kit including a meter, a pH electrode, and 3 calibration solutions (pH 4.00, 7.00, 10.01) in a rugged carrying case. Powered by AA batteries. The product is CE certified and comes with a two-year warranty for the meter, 6-month for the electrode. Notes: this product will not give accurate or stable readings for distilled or deionized waters pH testing. This is because distilled and deionized water do not have enough ions present for the electrode to function properly. To measure distilled or deionized water’s pH, users need to use a specialized pH electrode. Do not store the probe in distilled water or deionized water because they will cause damage to the glass membrane of the pH probe. Only use distilled water for cleaning the pH probe.
