What Is a Safety Valve?
The safety valves, also called pressure relief valves, which are a critical part for the air compressor system, follow a very simple mechanism. They can hold the pressure of compressed air systems on a stable level. The pressure relief valves control and limit the pressure build-up in a system by automatically opening and closing. When the pressure is loaded over the limitation of safety valve, the valve will open and release the gas and decrease pressure. They are suitable for low capacity pressure relief applications.
Solid Construction & Long-Lasting
Metal body, stainless steel spring
Suggestions for Installation
Thread the safety valve into the manifold and use a wrench to tighten.
Always depressurize the tank before maintaining the air compressor.
Check your safety valve at least once a month to see if it is in good condition.
