Description

WW2 US Airborne M1942 Trouser Leg ties - Type 1 Pair of leg ties for the M42 uniforms as worn by the 101st Airborne during D-Day and beyond. These folded straps are the same style used to modify the issued M42 uniforms and are a perfect upgrade to any 101st impression or collection. The 101st didnt have the resources to reinforce their uniforms like the 82nd did before D-Day so instead used straps like these, made from the same material as their trouser folded and stitched into a strip of webbing. Each strap measures 52 inches and must be sewn onto the un-reinforced M42 trousers. This is done with a box x stitch on the inside of the upper thigh, as shown in the images. Made from the same material as our M42 uniforms, these are a simple and neat way to step up your impression kit.
