Olive grows across the eastern Mediterranian from Europe through southwest Asia and northeast Africa. Its wood features diverse patterns of darker tan against a lighter yellow/golden background, somtimes figured with curly or wavy grain, burl, or wild grain. Use sealer to close the pores when finishing.
