For example the installation instructions for 2M cartridges clearly states "Never over tighten screws and never use aluminium screws, as they can get stuck in the threaded holes of the mounting plate". The weight of stainless steel bolts for aluminium other materials is also irrelevant since you should for always adjust the counterweight at the rear of the arm to ensure that you have set the correct Vertical Tracking Force (VTF) recommended for your cartridge and stylus.
3,To get the best performance from your equipment it is imperative to ensure that the cartridge is correctly fitted to the headshell making sure you for always use the shortest bolts that will accommodate your cartridge / headshell combination.
