Wild Yak
The primitive yak survived in the Pleistocene more than 3 million years ago, and it was widespread in the northeast of Eurasia. Later, due to crustal movement and climate change, it moved south to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau of China.
Wild yak can adapt to the alpine climate and is the mammal that lives at the highest altitude in the world. It is distributed over 3000 meters above the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China.
