The leverset can be manually programmed through the keypad, and LED indicators and sound provide feedback for code entry and programming. It has a mortise lock mechanism that fits in the recess of a narrow-width door stile. The classroom function latch locks the exterior handle for secure entry, while the interior handle remains unlocked for egress. A solid brass fixed 6-pin key cylinder with a SC1 keyway provides a key override to engage or release the lock. The lever handle can be installed for right- or left-hand operation. The leverset trim is made of stainless steel with a satin chrome finish that resists corrosion. The leverset is powered by 2 lithium 3V batteries (included).
