This igniter is the "wide" style used on many Carrier, Bryant, Payne, and Day & Night gas furnaces. The ceramic block on this igniter is 2" wide, 7/8" deep, and 5/8" thick. There are locating ridges on all four corners of the ceramic block. The heating element portion if the igniter is 2-1/4" long. The lead wires are 5-1/4" long and are terminated with a plug. This connection style was used on many Carrier, Bryant, Payne, and Day & Night furnace models. The wires are 1/2" apart. Some older models may require modification of the mounting bracket. Two high temperature ceramic wire nuts are also included and can be used if your existing plug is damaged or is not long enough.
