Wave maker is very important for small aquariums, especially for saltwater tanks, it can balance the flow and create good circulation in the tank, avoid dead spots that can lead to the accumulation of excess organic matter, create water current for the corals and plants, make fish more active.

Hygger 1600GPH frequency conversion aquarium wave make pump, comes with an led digital display controller, its multifunctional, with touch key buttons. You can customize different wave modes, wave speed, wave making watts for each period of a day by changing the last 3 digits on the controller, it will run as what you set automatically.

This is a compact but powerful aquarium wave pump, it supports time setting, the factory default time setting is to divide a day into 5 time intervals: Dawn for 2 hours, Sunrise for 2 hours, Daytime for 4.5 hours, Sunset for 2.5 hours, Night for 13 hours.

You need to set the pump time to your local time at first, then it will run as the preset waves, if you dont like the default setting, you can shift to each period of a day and change the last 3 digits to set wave modes, wave speed, wave making watts.

Here is the factory default setting for 5 time intervals & preset wave codes & explanation:

  • Dawn (5:30-7:30): 1312 /dawn, 80% working watts, pulse wave, wave making rate 2-fast
  • Sunrise (7:30-9:30): 2413 /sunrise, 100% working watts, pulse wave, wave making rate 3
  • Daytime (9:30-14:00): 3413 /daytime, 100% working watts, pulse wave, wave making rate 3
  • Sunset (14:00-16:30): 4425 /sunset, 100% working watts, sine wave, wave making rate 5
  • Night (16:30-5:30): 5138 /night, 40% working watts, constant speed wave, wave making rate 8-slowest

Led display digital controller

4 wave modes, 4 wave working watts and 8 wave making speeds for choice.

Firstly when you start to use the wave pump, please set the time on the controller to your local time.

Touch the "S" button to select the time setting mode or wave setting mode.

Touch the"M" button to shift to 1 of the four led digits.

Touch the "+" button to change the led number from 0 to 9.

There is a pause button “F” on the controller, touch it to make the pump pause for 10 minutes, led display "F-10", touch it again to restart it.

When you set each digit to your desired digit, wait it to flash for 3 seconds, then you go on setting next digit.

How to set the wave mode?

Please select to wave setting mode

  • Change the first digit to select the period of a day:1-dawn, 2-sunrise, 3-daytime, 4-sunset, 5-night
  • Change second digit to set the working watts: 1-40%, 2-60%, 3-80%, 4-100%
  • Change third digit to set the wave mode: 1-pulse wave, 2-sine wave, 3-constant speed wave, 4-random wave.
  • Change fourth digit to set the wave speed: 8 speed settings, 1 to 8 is from fast to slow.

Please note that when you choose random wave mode, the second and fourth digit cant be changed, the wave speed and working watts are random.

The 8 small led lights upon the screen is to show the current working watts.

4 wave modes

You can change the third digit of the 4 led digits from 1 to 4 to select wave modes.

1: Pulse wave-Simulating sea waves, make the fish and coral feel like being in the sea.

2: Sine wave-Wave flow is gentle and slow, the fish would love to play in this wave.

3: Constant speed wave-Blow away fish manure, feed residues, residue to keep tank clean.

4: Random wave-The wave making watts and the wave speed is random, combine the 3 other wave modes randomly.

Strong magnetic mounting

The wave pump mounting is magnet suction, the magnetism is strong and can last forever, can hold on to a glass tank thickness up to 4.7 inch.

The outside magnet piece and the inside magnet piece are covered by rubber sleeves to protect the glass tank. So no worries for scratching your aquarium tank.

Please keep the magnet piece far away from high temperature, exposure to maintain the magnetism.

The wave motor has 4 rubber feet, can be connected to the magnet base.

Ultra quiet & durable

The small aquarium powerhead is super silent when its working, you can hear the water sound only.

The propeller is driven by rotating shaft with magnet, no noise and no stuck produce during the process.

The rotator is durable material made, make the wave pump has long service life, and can be submersible in marine water for long time.

Please dont make the pump run dry, or it will display error "ERR7".
