This hammer has one Slightly domed face and one flat face. Ideal for repousse, shaping or finishing surfaces. Can be used for forming patterned effects on metal. The highly polished finish will not leave dings or scratches when used on the metal surface. Use this hammer directly on the surface of hollowware and jewelry, to refine the contours and to stretch the metal; it can also be used with steel stakes or against wood, leather or other forms. Choose face shapes that closely follow the contour you want to create.
