TOPENS AD5S Automatic Gate Opener is designed for Medium Duty dual swing gates up to a maximum of 16 ft. long or 550 lbs. in weight.
- Two installation modes, Pull-to-Open or Push-to-Open, allows gate open inwards or outwards.
- Equipped with 90° manual release key in case of power outage or when you lose your remote.
- Advanced TOPENS microchip rolling code technology for remote controls. To improve your gate safety, only TOPENS authorized remote controls and wireless accessories are allowed to operate TOPENS Gate Opener.
- Soft start and soft stop ensure a long-lasting performance. The soft stop time is adjustable.
- Stop in case of obstruction during gate opening, and reverse in case of obstruction during gate closing.
- Reliable electromagnetism limit switch for easy adjustment.
- Built-in adjustable auto-close time (3-120 seconds) and adjustable obstruction sensitivity / stall force.
- Built-in max. Motor Running Time (MRT 40 seconds) for multiple safety protection.
- Adjustable opening/closing interval (1-9 seconds) between master and slave gate.

How to Power This Gate Opener?
NOTE: The tiny CR2025 3V button cell batteries that come with the package are ONLY for the remote control.
Power Mode 1 (Default Mode) - Batteries as power source, use Only solar panel & solar charge controller to charge the batteries
- Recommended in remote location such as farm, ranch, pasture, etc.
- Requires additional 24V 12Ah Automotive / Marine type battery. 2 pcs 12V batteries connected in series for 24V (Battery is NOT included).
- Use the 20W 24V solar panel charging kit (included) to charge the batteries.
Power Mode 2 - Batteries as power source, use the adapter, solar panel & solar charge controller together to charge the batteries.
- Recommended where AC electricity is accessible, but not stable.
- The TS24-U adapter (included) is ONLY used to charge the batteries. The battery is sold separately.
Power Mode 3 - Batteries as power source, use Only adapter to charge the batteries
- Recommended where AC electricity is accessible, but not stable.
Power Mode 4 - Use the DPS180-U AC-DC Power Supply to power the system
- Recommended where AC electricity is accessible and stable.
- The power supply is offered online (Asin: B07DF8HQV3). The Power Supply (NOT included) is plugged into an AC 100-240V 50Hz/60Hz outlet and delivers DC 24V to power the system.
- Release the clutch and open the gate manually in case of power outage.
- DPS180-U AC-DC Power Supply can NOT be used to charge the batteries, and can NOT work together with the solar kit.
