All continents are shown and complemented by the marking of some big cities. The globe rotates around an axis, so you can look at all continents exactly. The beautifully designed pedestal is decorated with some interesting facts about the Earth. In addition, there is a secret lock-compartment in the base, the lever to open it accessible by turning a gear wheel. The globe is offered in two variations: brown and blue. The assembly is completely without glue. EWA Eco-Wood-Art is a young company that develops and produces creative and imaginative mechanical wooden model kits. The kits are made from renewable woods using the laser-cut process. The wooden panels are made of plywood birch. Most models are assembled without the use of adhesive, for some adhesive is necessary. The mechanical functions are realized with rubber bands and especially gears and let each model to life.
