The Firenze Dowell Briefcase is made with full grain leather and and solid brass Swiss lock. The calfskin leather for this briefcase was vegetable tanned in Tuscany to create rich color tones while the semi gloss finish helps prevent stains. Over time this leather bag will soften and develop a beautiful patina. The inside of this briefcase is leather lined for extra durability.
Solid Brass Swiss Lock
This Floto briefcase is made with a high quality Swiss Amiet key lock closure. It is precision designed to spring open when you slide the button down the face of the lock. This lifetime quality lock is made with solid brass. To operate the latch, slide the button down the lock face. The handy ejector spring will pop it open.

The slow process of tanning Floto leather uses natural vegetable tannins with total respect for nature. Our raw leather skins are a byproduct of the food industry and our tanning waste is reused in other supply chains. Floto tanning is metal free, sustainable, and not harmful to people.
