Usage: It is used for sample pre-filtration, clarification and strain filtration of particle, liquid and gas.
Tips:
1. Water system MCE (mixed cellulose ester) : suitable for aqueous solution, low protein adsorption.Fast flow rate, strong thermal stability, not suitable for organic solvents, especially water - based solutions.
2. Organic system nylon: Generally used in some organic and aqueous solutions, not suitable for filtering corrosive solvents and strong acid and alkali solutions.
3. PES (polyethersulfone) in water system: with high chemical and thermal stability, fast flow rate, strong acid and alkali resistance (PH range 1-14), and high mechanical strength.
4. PVDF( Polyvinylidene fluoride ): It is hydrophobic and cannot directly filter aqueous solution. (if aqueous solution needs to be filtered, the filter membrane should be soaked in pure ethanol or methanol for more than 4 hours.) it can also be used as an air filter medium to isolate water vapor.
