The film, based on real events, begins with the last moments of Irish criminal Martin Cahills life in 1994, when he was shot dead by an unknown as he got into his car. In the last minutes of his life, his whole life passes before his eyes: a childhood overshadowed by poverty, later creating his own gang, a fierce struggle for survival and the sale of stolen paintings, which became a fatal mistake.
