Step1 Separate the main ratchet drive device Position the drive pawl spring on the lever handle and pull it to the "up" position to separate the main ratchet drive.
Step2 Connecting load hooks Connect the load hook to the load to be pulled. If you have two load hooks, they can be connected together to form a ring.
Step3 Release stop pawl trigger Once the fixed point is reached, release the stop pawl trigger and ensure that it fully engages back into the ratchet sprocket. Connect the anchor hook to the anchor point you are about to pull.
Step4 Lift up the drive pawl spring This will lift the drive pawl and separate it from the ratchet. Pump the handle up and down with a short stroke, facing the stop pawl. This movement allows the driving pawl to come into contact with the stopping pawl during each descending stroke, releasing the load of one gear at a time.
