●All the throws/plaids are produced by traditional artisanal eco-friendly techniques for wool processing with NO USE OF CHEMICALS.
●Our wool throws and plaids have DENSE structure because they are weaved with a THICKER YARN. Weight of the 140 x 190 cm (55 x 75 in) throw/plaid is 1,300 g (2.8 lb) .
●You will get a VERY WARM, ORGANIC and DURABLE item with no wool shedding.
●Machine wash delicate/wool up to 30º C (86º F), do not tumble dry. NOTE: the texture of the wool will get softer after wash.

Description
Our wool throws and plaids are manufactured in Portugal by the artisan factory situated in the highest mountain district of Serra da Estrela. The region is famous by weaving industry, particularly, by producing wool throws and blankets from Bordaleira sheeps breed distinguished by homogeneous white, beige and brown shades of wool. Approximately six kilograms of wool is obtained from each sheep of which only three kilograms are the fine wool. Only the best quality wool which comes from the animals back is used for our eco-friendly products. Spring is the right time to shear wool from the sheepp to ensure its growth by the following winter. No chemicals are used throughout all the stages of wool processing, from transformation of the wool into yarn, to weaving it and washing the fabric at the end. You may choose the color and pattern you like with a guaranteed European quality.
