On a mighty quest for the perfect bunk ladder, we investigated some of the common telescopic ladder available on the market. The problem: they were too wide to work efficiently in a van. This resulted in limited storage options, and they were bulky when used inside as a bunk ladder. So we went straight to the manufacturer and had a ladder custom-made to a narrower width (14.5") so they fit perfectly into the van.
These ladders extend to 6.5 feet (2m) in height, which means they are perfectly-sized to reach anything you have stored on the roof of your vehicle and they can be lowered incrementally?essentially acting as the ideal bunk ladder without ending up too high and getting in the way when climbing up and down. Ladder collapses fully to a diminuitive 27" tall by 14.5" wide for easy storage in a variety of locations.
