Sound This reed is medium-bright yet focused which is why it’s used worldwide by advanced and professional players in both jazz and classical settings. The Classic are more percussive than the Signatures making it ideal for marching bands and large ensembles. The American Cut’s distinct profile is what gives players a full, clear low register and vibrant altissimo. The Studio Cut is an ideal choice for players who use a lot of vibrato in their sound or blow very hard. It is recommended that players test the Signature before the Studio Cut.
