Description

Introducing Heritage Musical Spoons, a family business fueled by passion and craftsmanship. Meet Richard and Mathieu, the dynamic father and son duo from Quebec City, Canada, who have been crafting exquisite spoons since 1997. What started as a unique gift for a friend blossomed into a sensation as word spread about the exceptional feel and quality of their creations. Richard, a former environmental technician, was drawn to the idea of owning a small business and fully dedicated himself to his spoons. Meanwhile, Mathieu, after growing up in his fathers woodworking shop, pursued a business degree and gained valuable marketing experience before ultimately following his heart and joining the family business in 2016. They believe in using only the finest Canadian Maple Wood sourced from the forests of northern Quebec and Ontario. This high-density wood is perfect for percussion, delivering a rich and full sound that surpasses the metallic notes of conventional spoons. Crafted with unwavering attention to detail and a commitment to quality, all their spoons are meticulously created in their very own Heritage Workshop, built by Richards skilled hands.
