Secondary Air Injection Pump Assembly is one of the off-board purification devices that reduce exhaust emissions by using safe, high-quality and durable materials. It increases the oxygen content by blowing additional air (secondary air) into the exhaust gas. In this way, the unburned harmful substances in the exhaust gas, carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC), are burned again in a high temperature environment to utilize the exhausted exhaust gas to encounter secondary combustion of oxygen in the air to help reduce harmful substances in the exhaust gas.
