Description

What is cane webbing?

Cane webbing is a woven material within the wicker family, that has traditionally been used to repair stuff like chair, cabinet, ceiling

How do you get started using cane webbing?

Soak products in warm water for 15-30 minutes before starting DIY projects otherwise it’s too stiff and brittle to use.If it’s still stiff after that, lets soak a bit longer but not too long, otherwise the cane webbing might turn gray.

Can you paint or stain cane webbing?

Cane webbing may not absorb paint & stain as well as wood or other more porous material, but it can still be done.If you’re set on using a color rather than keeping it in a natural state, it’s possible to look for pre-dyed cane.
