The 602s were exactly that, the Modern Essentials are simply a new twist on the classic formula.With heavier hammer marks much like the Signature Traditional; these cymbals are rich, warm, lush, and breathy with a glassy, shimmering wash. The heavier hammer marks help focus in the sound of these cymbals, giving them a more pronounced bow and quicker decay and an overall darker fundamental. These rides are extremely earthy with unbelievable stick definition, a breathy wash, and an incredible crash.After sitting down with these for a while we have to say, these things are no joke.
