Feature

●Soudaseal SL uses SMX Hybrid Polymer technology, which is the next generation beyond the capabilities of a polyurethane sealant. From an application standpoint, they are much more forgiving and versatile. You can apply at wider temperature ranges that include extreme heat/cold and moisture (-35°F to +140°F).
●High performance and adhesion on porous and non-porous surfaces. Ideal for pool expansion joints, decks, drive-& walkways, concrete joints, and more.
●Solvent free and does not outgas or bubble in the curing process. This leads to a smoother/cleaner and more seamless finish, which allows installation without tooling.
●No bubble formation within sealant in high temperatures and humidity applications. Good extrudability in low temperatures. Can be painted with water-based paints, even before full curing. Permanently elastic after full curing.
●Free of isocyanates, solvents, halogens, and acids. Color stable and UV resistant. Ships in durable packaging to protect the cartridges while in transit. Made in the USA.

Surfaces

Surface Preparation 1 Clean, dry, free of dust and grease.
Surface Preparation 2 Porous surfaces in water loaded applications should be primed with Primer 150. Surface Activator may be used to pretreat non-porous surfaces. We recommend preliminary compatibility tests previous to application.
Resistance to Chemical Agents Good resistance to water, aliphatic solvents, mineral oils, grease, diluted inorganic acids and alkalis. Poor resistance to aromatic solvents, concentrated acids, chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Horizontal Joint Dimensions Minimum width: 1/4” Maximum width: 1 3/16” Minimum Depth: 1/5” Recommendation: 2 x depth = width
