Overview

Featuring a C-shaped impact device with low impact force, it is suitable for testing the hardness of surface hardening layers and parts with small masses or thin thicknesses. The instrument uses advanced dual coil technology for good repeatability and high measurement accuracy. The probe has a built-in orientation sensor, which automatically compensates for measurement errors in different impact directions. The system has five hardness scales, which can be interchanged between Richter (HL), Vickers (HV), Brinell (HB), Shore (HS) and Rockwell (HRC) to avoid tedious manual calculations.
